Did I miss any homages in DW: “The God Complex”?
Having only seen it the one time, there are elements in the episodes that may be less foreshadowing than referential …
- Eleven having no problem eating an apple.
- Lucy “the last to go, who left the note” - saying goodbye to the Policewoman uniform?
- The Williams’ Blue-house-with-a-blue-door. (I love how 11 accepts she is not “Amelia Pond”, but “Amy Williams”)
- Rita - a reference to Martha Jones (able physician), or goodbye to the blue scrubs?
- Eleven picking up a Rubik’s Cube.
- Eleven’s fears in room #11?
- Paranoid blogger - reference to “Rose” (Nine’s episode 1)…or US?
- Assuming the minotaur is just because they were in a labyrinth - is the labrynth a refernce to the 80’s film about the young girl who has to grow up and put away childish things?
